PROTOCOL was founded in order to monitor the supply, trade and developments of the element known as radianite. PROTOCOL is not affiliated with any government or corporation, and operates undercover globally as a shadow organization. currently, PROTOCOL is the first line of defense in dealing with the threat of LEGION, a group of unknown agents attempting to steal earth's radianite. recently, PROTOCOL has made advances in discovering the identity and motives of this organization. it seems LEGION is an almost perfect mirror organization of PROTOCOL from another timeline, in which earth has all but depleted the radianite supply it depends on. in order to distinguish these dimensions, PROTOCOL's home planet has been named alpha earth, while the mirror planet has been named omega earth.

* not much is known about sova's encounter with the rift, but it is assumed he is one of the first people on alpha earth to have successfully gone through.

› background: KAY/O was originally found on the island ██████ in the bermuda triangle (code name "BREEZE"), transported to alpha earth through a faulty teleporter at the abandoned research facility from KINGDOM CORP. he was kept in a powered down state until agent KILLJOY was able to do an analytic scan, which concluded him to be of neither alpha nor omega dimension. upon powering up, KAY/O was able to answer questions on his origin and function: in the timeline he is from, he was part of the VALORANT PROTOCOL and its mission until a bloody and violent war between humans and radiants erupted, in which he was a defender of the humans against the radiant rebellion. integration into the PROTOCOL proved difficult, as the subject was still hostile towards all radiant agents. only communication with agents BRIMSTONE and KILLJOY seemed effective, and with a minor adjustment to his code the robotic operative was able to be released. he has since proven useful to the PROTOCOL in preventing the omega threat and has not shown problematic behavior towards the radiant agents.NOTE: although the agent's memory is without flaw, he oftentimes seems to reminisce about events or people from his own timeline, projecting his feelings on the agents of alpha earth.SHOULD THE SUBJECT DISPLAY ANY NOTICEABLE CHANGES IN BEHAVIOR OR ACT UPON HIS FORMER CODE HE IS TO BE IMMEDIATELY POWERED DOWN FOR THE SAFETY OF THE TIMELINE.
